Electro Standards has designed the Model 8008 Modem Security Bracket Kit to prevent the theft of modems installed in hotel rooms. The Kit includes a Modem Bracket, a V-Bracket Assembly to hold the modular data cable, a 15-ft Coax RG-6 F-Type Connector cable, and a 10-ft Data Patch Cable, RJ-45 CAT5e. This Kit accommodates a wide variety of user-supplied modems.
The Model 8008 Modem Security Bracket is designed to mount on the underside of desktops, shelves, or tables. It is secured to the underside surface by four screws through tabs on the corners of the bracket. The V-bracket holds the modular data cable at desktop for easy access by the guest. It is designed with the networking cable attached and provides printed instruction on how to plug into the Internet.
