PathWay® DB15 8-TO-1 SWITCH WITH EXCLUSIVE RS232 REMOTE:
The drawing illustrates a COMMON device connected to the DB15 COMMON port with access to eight DB15 interface devices connected to the DB15 ports A, B, C, D, E, F, G, and H. The COMMON Device has access to connect to one Device at a time. The DB9 Remote port is used exclusiviely to control the switch remotely via ASCII RS232 Serial data commands.
FEATURES:

- The ports are transparent to all data.
- All (15) pins of the DB15 interface are switched via break-before-make electromechanical relays.
- The unit maintains last set position on power loss and continues to pass data.
- No front panel control.
- Remote RS232 ASCII commands that allow the user to control switch position, obtain switch status, query firmware version number, and query serial number.
- The ASCII command set is as follows:
- "CTRL-A" created by holding down the [CTRL] and [A] key on the keyboard, changes the switch position to "A";
