Electro Standards Expands its High-Quality Manual Data Switch Line
Electro Standards Expands its High-Quality Manual Data Switch Line
December 11, 2008
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has added five new manual data switches to its product line to accommodate the special requirements of its customers. Manual data switches are not just simple switches to switch from one printer to another. Today's manual data switches accommodate a plethora of situations.
The Model 9263 Dual Channel RJ45 CAT5e A/B Switch switches both channels to A or B simultaneously. Each of the two channels reroutes data from its Common port to its A or B port depending on the switch position. The rotary selector switch and all six of the dual channel ports are located on the front panel.
To fill a requirement for a ton of manual A/B switching in a small area, the Model 9741 High-Density A/B Switch System was designed. This system fits forty AB manual switch modules in a compact rack 19" W x 8.75" H x 13 D.
Model 8050 is a reliable CAT5 compliant AB desktop switch. This switch incorporates a high quality switch with self wiping contacts. The switching mechanism is a sealed precious metal contact switch. The all aluminum enclosure is designed to be EMI/RFI resistant in noisy environments.
The Model 4503 Seismic-Proof DB9 A/B Switch was designed to withstand the vibrations of nuclear power plants. It's tough, small, and has a keylock for added security.
To switch data and audio channels to either of two remote locations, the Model 8039 Multiperipheral RJ45 CAT5 and XLR 3-Pin A/B switch is ideal. This network switch was developed for a Sleep Lab.
