Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, offers all types of high quality, terminated Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies in any length.  Fiber Optic Cables offer near-unlimited bandwidth at high speeds over long distances and are totally immune to electrical interference.  These cables are critical components in telecommunications, networking, broadcast communications, and many industrial control applications.

These highly reliable, long life cables are available as Simplex, for applications requiring one-way data transmission, or Duplex, for applications requiring simultaneous, bidirectional data transfer.  They are also available in PVC or Plenum and as Multimode, for shorter distances, or Single Mode to provide a higher transmission rate (up to 50 times more distance than Multimode).  All cables are available in any length and terminated with ceramic connectors for low signal loss. Connector combinations include LC, SC, FC, ST, FDDI, ESCON, MTRJ, and more.

 ESL also manufactures complex MTP/MPO Fan Out Cable Assemblies, featuring 12 Fiber “Plug and Play”.  This system offers an MTP/MPO connector for quick connection to 12 fibers, featuring 12 times the density of SC Connectors. ESL’s quality-control process includes screening the fibers and ferrules at the beginning, skillful assembly, detailed attention to the polishing and rigorous examination and testing.
