Field Tested CAT5e Wallplate Switch Designed for IP Camera Video Surveillance Networks

Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, adds Model 7190 RJ45 Online/Offline Double Gang Wallbox Switch to their Network Switch product line. This Cat5e compliant switch was designed for secure surveillance/IP camera monitoring. In the ONLINE position, the IP Camera data passes from the computer to the data network. In the OFFLINE position, the data is secured from intruders by isolating it.
The Model 7190 also features double gang wallbox configuration for secure mounting in any room or space where video surveillance is needed, such as conference rooms, cash offices, stock rooms, etc. Efficiently utilizing wall space, the dimensions of the unit are 4.56” W x 4.5” H x 3.4” D (11.6 x 11.4 x 8.6 cm). There is no need to plug and unplug cables, therefore no chance for network reconfiguration errors.
The model 7190 is equipped with a rotary knob located on front of the faceplate, clearly labeled ONLINE and OFFLINE for quick and easy switching of the data. Electro Standards has the capability to custom label the faceplate as well as custom design for any other application specifications such as configuration, remote control, port connectors, number of positions, etc.
