Local & Remote Control With Sleek, Low-Profile DB25 A/B Switch

Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Model 7272 Single Channel, RS-530, AB Switch with DB25 Interface that supports connections between a single RS530 device or peripheral to be shared between two other devices or peripherals.  The A and B ports are both Female DB25 connectors, but the Common port, located on the rear of the unit, is a Male DB25 connector. 

This compact, low profile, 19-inch, 1U rack, network switch can be controlled via local, front panel pushbutton or via DB9 Contact Control Remote port located on rear of unit.  All 25 signal lines of the DB25 RS530 interface connector are switched and connections through the switch are transparent to data format.
