M4440 Remotely Controllable RS-232 4-Way Switch with Selectable Trigger Character

Electro Standards has just announced its Model 4440 remotely controllable switch to access 4 devices. The selectable trigger character allows the operator to choose a unique trigger character to establish communications. Interactive menu allows the user to assign device labels, change the switch position, or simply query the unit for switch status.
Special features include remote control from a device directly connected to the COMMON port or a distant device via modem connection. The user can switch among connected devices via ASCII code protocol. Key signal activity LEDs monitor signal activity. Port status LEDs show connected port.
