M6292 IP Addressable, Single Mode LC Duplex, Fiber Optic A/B/C Switch

Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new QuickSwitch® Model 6292 Fiber Optic Mirror A/B/C Switch, Single Mode LC Duplex with 10/100 BASE-T LAN Telnet Access. This IP Addressable fiber optic switch has the capability of sharing a Fiber Optic LC Duplex pair connected to the COMMON port among three other sets of LC Duplex pairs connected to the A, B, and C ports.
Model 6292 fiber optic switch is unique because it supports single mode fiber (SMF 28), 9/125 micron with a wavelength of 1310 nm and MEMS mirror switch supports OC12 speeds of 622 Mbps. All switched signals are passed via mirror relays that maintain their position and continuity even in the event of power loss. Switch ports are transparent to all data.
Control of QuickSwitch® Model 6292 fiber optic switch position is from a 10/100 Base-T LAN Ethernet environment or, alternately, the front panel pushbutton.
