May 9, 2008
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Model 7212 Remotely Controllable DB25 A/B Switch. A computer or terminal connected to the control port sends commands to the Model 7212 Network Switch. This command set allows the operator to change the switch position and to query the switch status.
This easy-to-use switch has a front-panel pushbutton for onsite switching. Switch position and continuity are maintained in the event of a power failure. LEDs display switch status. The Model 7212 is equipped with an all aluminum enclosure, specifically designed to be EMI/RFI (interference) resistant in noisy environments.
