Press Release: Model 5505 8-Channel Cat5e Keylock Switch and Model 5008 Display Unit Provide a Robust & Secure Video Conference Room Communications

Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, has added the new Model 5505 8-Channel RJ45 Cat5e Data Pass/Off-Line Video Conference Room Keylock Switch to their product line-up. The Model 5505 is ideal for secure conference room communication applications with 2 keylock actuators on front panel for added security.

The Model 5505 can only be controlled manually via (2) two-position keylock actuators, both labeled OFF-LINE and DATA PASS on the front panel. Each keylock simultaneously switches four channels between Data Pass and Off-Line positions.

The switch function of the Model 5505 RJ45 Ethernet Switch will allow the passing of data in the DATA PASS position and to secure and disconnect data in the OFF-LINE position. The Model 5505 can be used in conjunction with the Model 5008 Display Unit to provide a robust, secure, video conference room switching solution.
