Model 7286 Facilitates Quick & Easy Exchange of Connections from Two Computers to Either of Two Peripherals

The new Model 7286 Crossover Switch with Contact Closure is now available from Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI.  This DB25 switch is designed for switching between data sources to either of two destinations.  The Model 7286 supports connections between four devices or peripherals connected to ports A, B, C, and D, in two different positions, Normal and Crossover.  

The Model 7286 switches all 25 pins of the DB25 interface and the switch ports are transparent to all data. A front panel pushbutton allows switch position selection between Normal and Crossover. Dry contact closure is used to lockout front panel control, remotely control or monitor the switch position via DB9 custom remote port.  

The switch is available with an optional wide range power module making this switch an ideal solution for international switching applications. Catalog No. 517277 is a CE and UL listed table mount unit that supports 100VAC/240VAC, 50Hz/60Hz operation. The standard power modules are ideal for applications requiring 115VAC or 120VAC.
