Model 7309 DB25 A/B Switch with Secure Offline Position and Password Protected Remote Control
Model 7309 DB25 A/B Switch with Secure Offline Position and Password Protected Remote Control
June 13, 2019
Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston RI, USA, has designed a secure switch solution that allows access to two networks/devices from one computer or workstation and removes devices from the network altogether with a secure offline position as the ultimate network firewall. The Model 7309 DB25 A/B Switch also protects against unauthorized user access by requiring proper authentication via password protection, for remotely controlling of the switch position.
Electro Standards has over 40 years in the business designing hundreds of network switch products. When protecting data is a concern, the Model 7309 can be switched to the Offline position, to cut-off data from passing through to the network. This particulare unit is designed to switch to Offline position before switching to A or B position.
The switch position can be controlled manually via front panel pushbutton or remotely via an Ethernet remote port and Telnet commands. Once users enter proper authentication, they can control switch position, lockout front panel operations and obtain switch status.
