FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, announces the new Model 9251 that offers the convenience of both an A/B/C/D and an A/B switch in one box. The Model 9251 switch system is comprised of two independent sharing switches efficiently packaged in a 19-inch wide, 2U high (3.5”) rackmount unit. The Model 9251 allows users to independently switch each of the two channels manually via two knobs on the front panel and requires no power.
The switch is manufactured with quality components including highly reliable precious metal sealed switches. The company is so confident in the integrity of this switch that it offers a Lifetime Guarantee against manufacturing defects. Carefully crafted custom length DB25 cables are available from Electro Standards Laboratories to complete the installation of the Model 9251 into your network.
Channel 1 is a DB25 A/B/C/D Switch which allows the sharing of one common DB25 device among four others on ports A, B, C, and D. Channel 2 is a 2-position DB25 A/B Switch that allows the sharing of one common DB25 device among 2 others on ports A and B. The Model 9251 is transparent to data speed and format. An attractive anodized black box packaging provides EMI/RFI shielding. All ports are located on the rear panel of the unit and all 25 pins of the RS530 interface are switched.
