Model 9257 DB25 RS530 Switch Designed for VSAT-Dish & HF-Radio Switching Apps

Electro Standards Laboratories has designed the LineSelect® Model 9257 to support VSAT-Dish and HF-Radio switching.  The Model 9257 DB25 Switch offers two channels of A/B Switching with custom labeling of “VSAT” and “HF” designated as the A and B positions for each of the 2 channels. 

The Model 9257 supports RS530 or ANY DB25 interface device connection. This DB25 switcher is manually operated and does not require any power. Each of the two channels can be controlled independently by turning the 2 front panel knobs to the VSAT or HF positions. This switching unit is currently used in the support of VSAT and HF Radio applications by a major communications systems integrator.

The Model 9257 RS530 Switcher is available as a COTS item with a standard rackmount configuration containing all metal, black box packaging and providing EMI/RFI shielding.  If another configuration is desired, please contact our customer support at 401-943-1164.  We have inhouse engineering staff available to custom design.
