Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, announces the Model 9447 DB9 RS-232 A/B Network Switch that enables easy access to two networks. The Model 9447 improves computer efficiency by allowing the sharing of peripherals.
This manually operated, Rackmount switch allows the user to reroute data between two networks with a simple flip of a switch. The Model 9447 supports all 9 pins of the DB9 interface. This manual switch requires no external power.
The reliable Model 9447 switch incorporates a high-quality switch with self-wiping low impedance contacts. The switch is transparent to data speed and format. This rugged switch is housed in an anodized black box packaging that provides EMI/RFI shielding.
