New Model 4215A-204-1 Dual Channel Smart Load Cell Indicator from Electro Standards Laboratories
September 7, 2011
For Immediate Release
Electro Standards Laboratories, Cranston, RI, announces the Model 4215A-204-1 Dual-Channel Smart Load Cell Indicator. The Model 4215A-204-1 Dual-Channel Smart Load Cell Indicator, Catalog No. 304217, measures and controls strain gage transducer based systems. The Model 4215A-204-1 features TEDS-TagÒ Auto Load Cell ID and auto setup for 25 load cells. This instrument is compatible with most tensile testers, load cells, extensometers, torque transducers, pressure sensors and position encoders.
Model 4215A-204-1 load cell indicator captures the load peak and valley, and displays in pounds, kilograms, Newtons, PSI, MegaPascals, kilo-pounds, kilo-Newtons, metric tons, or mV/V. Model 4215A-204-1 features two independent lines of 20-character fully bipolar +/-999,999 display for simultaneous viewing of both channels. Adjustment and calibration are achieved with user-friendly front-panel menus.
The Model 4215A-204-1 measures position and velocity with optional encoder input. Display is in English units, metric units, or in percent of a user-defined base length. With four contact closure Limit switches, the user can select which signal drives the limit (load, peak, valley, position, or velocity), normally open/normally closed, set point, and manual reset (latched) or automatic reset (not latched).
Menu buttons have alternate functions for setup menus. Programmed operations include peak hold and tracking, programmable math and function channels, programmable limits, the variety of engineering units, position and velocity indication, and user-parameter inputs along with menu scrolling and auto zero.
The Model 4215A-204-1 is dataView software ready for graphical user interface and connection to a PC. The dataView software features include: full function point-and-click graphical user interface; plug and play operation, full speed data acquisition and plotting; data export into spread sheets; store and recall data files; create and retrieve configuration files; and report generation.
