PS/2 KEYBOARD, VGA MONITOR, & PS/2 MOUSE APPLICATION:

The diagram illustrates a PS/2 computer connected to the Model 8408. The hard drive is allowed access to (PS/2 Keyboard A, VGA Monitor A, and PS/2 Mouse A) or to select (PS/2 Keyboard B, VGA Monitor B, and PS/2 Mouse B) setup by selecting one of two switch positions on the Model 8408.

LineSelect KVM Switch, PS/2 Keyboard, VGA Monitor, & PS/2 Mouse

The LineSelect® Model 8408, PS/2 Keyboard, Monitor and Mouse A/B Switch is designed to allow access from one PS/2 computer to two locations having a keyboard, monitor, and mouse. Alternately, the M8408 can also be used where two PS/2 computers need to be shared among one keyboard, monitor and mouse location. A front panel selector allows easy switching of the shared device. No external power required with the Model 8408 Manual Data Network Switch.
